Ok, so. Fleetwood Mac keyboardist Christine McVie put out a solo record in 1984, and there's an unreleased-ish song from that time period that she only did live on her solo tour called Too Much Is Not Enough. One of the live recordings of that song (Chicago, to be exact) has this moment in the beginning where she's dicking around on a synth before the song begins and it's this really silly 'mwahwahwahwah' tone that got stuck in my head like it was a jingle or something. The melody for this tune popped into my head at my day job and I had that synth tone in mind at first but it didn't turn out that way. I just let the song drag me wherever it was supposed to go, and I'd been listening to a lot of Synthwave stuff at the time. I guess it makes sense that it's jingle length, eh? Tried it on the Gadget on a whim when I was taking a break from YouTube and it was a lot nastier and tighter, so I kept it.
